The Torre del Porticciolo camp-site is placed in a beautiful, sheltered cave an Sardinia s North Western coast; 15 Kms from the town of Alghero, 10 Kms the airport, 20 Kms from Porto Torres (ferry-port). Ideal for the scuba-diving, snorkelling and underwater photografy. For those keen on archeology there are also many interesting sites nearby, proof or thausands of years of the island s history. Finnally, a perfect place in wich to live in closer to nature, in an oasis of untouched, natural beauty. A spectacular mixture of; rolling hills, of towering cliffs and jagged rocks; of solitary coves magnificient under-water caves and archeological finds; plus acres of pineforest, full of surprises for nature lovers: this is just an example of what this corner of Sardinia has to ofter. Not far away is Alghero; walled catalonian city, with it s gothic-aragonese towers and churches. An island within a island.............and for your evenings entertainment; there s much fun to be had in the bars, night-clubs.
